1. **Identify the Passion:**

The first step in choosing the right performing arts classes is to identify the passion. What type of performing arts resonates with you the most? 3. **Research Different Disciplines:**

Performing arts encompass a wide range of disciplines. Research the various options available to you, such as ballet, contemporary dance, acting, singing, and more. Each discipline has its own unique characteristics and requirements, so it's essential to gain a basic understanding of what each entails. 4. **Consider Your Skill Level:**

Be honest about your current skill level. Are you a beginner, an intermediate, or an advanced? Choosing classes that align with your skill level will ensure that you're neither overwhelmed nor underchallenged. Many classes offer different levels, allowing you to progress gradually. We are here to make sure that you are cultivated in each class, and it doesn't matter to us if you have never participated in a class before. That is why we do what we do. So don't be scared.

5. **Check the Curriculum:**

Look into the curriculum of the performing arts classes you're considering. Does it cover the fundamentals? Does it offer a progressive learning structure? A well-structured curriculum will provide a solid foundation and help you build skills systematically. Of course it does, we only ever progress our students in healthy beneficial steps to each individual. Nothing is forced upon and we work with the parents and child together.

The class size and learning environment play a role in how effectively you'll learn. Smaller class sizes often mean more personalized attention from our faculty and classes. We only have 15 maximum in the majority of our classes with 2 faculty members. This means we give that extra attention to the students.

8. **Trial Classes or Workshops:**

Many performing arts schools or studios offer trial classes or workshops. Participating in these sessions can give you a feel for the teaching style, class dynamics, and whether the class aligns with your expectations. However here at Unite we believe that a one off trial doesn't provide you or your child with very much to go from. This is why we believe in our 100% Happiness guarantee, that we can guarantee works with wonderful feedback. Have a read here as to what it entails.

9. **Seek Recommendations:**

Don't hesitate to ask for recommendations from friends, other parents from Unite Stage Academy, family, or peers who have experience in performing arts. Their insights can help you discover classes that you might not have come across otherwise. Read reviews, dig a little deeper.

10. **Listen to Your Instincts:**

Ultimately, trust your instincts. If a particular class resonates with you and aligns with your goals, it's likely a good fit. Your intuition can be a powerful guide in making the right decision.
